First things first. We’re an online wine retailer, serving our customers (we call them Angels) better wine for less money, without any guesswork. How? We fund independent winemakers directly, cut out any unnecessary costs and give them free rein to make magic just for you. We’re basically a smarter way to buy wine. Easy as that.

Back in 2008, our founder Rowan set out to make the world a better place for wine drinkers like you. A world where the only wine you ever drank was created by talented winemakers. Where the quality of every bottle was 10/10, but you didn't pay jaw-dropping prices. But most importantly, a world where winemakers could make a decent living. Good idea? It sure was, and just like that, Naked was born.

We wouldn't be Naked without them. Genuinely. Our winemakers craft their wines their way, completely free from big corporate control. Like Megan Glaab and her husband Ryan. They’re the brains behind their VERSE range, with the Naked funding making their dream reality. Feels nice to support the little guys, doesn’t it?

The reason we can support our winemakers is thanks to our more than 500,000 Angels globally. They put $40 a month (or less) into their very own Naked piggy bank. And in return, they get to buy world-class wines at great prices. A bit like classic crowd-funding – the power of people coming together so everybody wins. You get better wine at fair prices, and the winemakers can make a fair living. Only supermarket profits get squeezed.
